Fodder Beet

Low-medium dry matter. Insitu grazing type.

Fodder beet is a high-yielding winter forage crop widely used in New Zealand dairy, sheep and beef systems. Sown in spring, it produces very high dry matter yields and provides high-energy feed for winter grazing. Both bulb and leaf are highly palatable, supporting strong stock performance.

Westerwolds Italian Ryegrass

A fast-establishing, high-yielding ryegrass suited to short-term pasture in New Zealand farming systems. Typically lasting 9–15 months, it produces strong winter and early spring growth, making it ideal for filling feed gaps. Commonly used for winter grazing, winter milking, spring silage and short-term pasture following crops. Performs well in mixes with Black Oats or Red Clover for high-quality silage.

Vantage Tetraploid Perennial Ryegrass

A high performance perennial ryegrass with larger stems and leaves. Improved palatability compared with diploid types. Tetraploid varieties provide excellent animal intake and pasture quality in NZ grazing systems.

Hybrid Ryegrass

A cross between perennial and Italian ryegrass, fine leaf diploid. It offers a balance of high yield and improved persistence. Suitable for short - medium term pastures (2-5 years) providing strong seasonal growth and excellent feed quality.

Caroline Low Endophyte Perennial Ryegrass

A high-quality perennial ryegrass offering excellent palatability and animal performance. With low endophyte levels, it reduces animal health risks while still delivering reliable persistence under grazing. Densely tillered flowering date +14 days. Well suited to long-term pastures, Caroline provides strong seasonal growth and consistent feed quality across a range of New Zealand farming systems.

Plus 20 Perennial Ryegrass 

A diploid, later-flowering perennial ryegrass ideal for extending pasture quality into late spring and summer. Suitable for all livestock classes, it provides consistent growth and dependable seasonal performance.

Haifa White Clover

A large-leaved white clover suited to productive pastures and silage systems. Haifa performs well in fertile soils with good moisture, providing excellent nitrogen fixation and high-quality feed.

SG Kale

A New Zealand-bred, medium to tall-growing kale variety designed for reliable winter feed. Semi Giant Kale is well suited to a range of farming systems, offering strong yields of high-quality forage with good leaf-to-stem ratio. It performs best when used for wintering cows and R2 beef cattle, providing a consistent and palatable feed source during colder months.

MS Kale

A reliable, medium-height kale variety suited to New Zealand conditions. MS Kale offers good dry matter yield with a balanced leaf-to-stem ratio, making it ideal for winter grazing. Well suited to cows and beef cattle, it establishes easily and provides consistent, palatable feed through the colder months.

Cereal Green Feed

Of recent years it is becoming common practice to blend a range of cereals, ryegrasses, peas, vetch and clovers.

Tiko Green Feed Oats

A fast-growing annual cereal used for winter and early spring grazing or silage. Black oats establish quickly and are often grown in mixes with annual ryegrass or clovers for high-quality forage.
